Walking along the surf beach
by Sharon
Later in the weekend the weather cooled off and the skies turned grey. Ken and I went to the beach in the late afternoon. All the wildflowers were out in full bloom amidst the sandunes. I stayed to take some more photos while Ken went off with the dog. As I descended from the sandunes out onto the beach I could feel and hear the surf pounding away as it has done for a thousand years. The scene was majestic! Large pale waves continuously rolling in one after another. The surf pounding onto silent shores. I walked along the water's edge looking for treasures. I was pleased to find two - a cowrie shell and a sea anemone shell!
