In need of a rest and relax after ministry

Well, we had a wonderful "Wildflowers In The Desert" retreat at Williamstown last week where Jesus ministered His grace and mercy to those struggling in the deserts of life.  We were all blessed by the Presence of God as He flowed like a river through our midst and we could soak our feet in His living waters.  However after ministry I usually feel quite tired.  So Ken took me away this weekend for a rest and relax down at the beach.  We sat by the roaring wood fire while it poured with rain and blew a gale outside. Another day we went for a scenic drive to Leongatha and shopped at the Op Shops, finally finishing up with a hot choc at a cafe.  Then on Saturday, in a break between the showers, we went for our one and only walk along the winter's beach.  The sun reflected beautifully off the surf and wet sand.  It was with a thankful heart that I thanked God for His continued goodness lavished over us!
