Helping out with the fish sampling

Ken and I have just returned from visiting Jared and Jahzeel.  We had a wonderful time away staying with them at their house.  Jared is currently working on a PhD studying the effects of thermal stress upon fish.  So of course we had to have a tour of the fish shed and see all his fish!  The next day it was time to do some sampling of the fish and I was invited to help out.  I was very excited about that!  I got to wear a lab coat and record all the details about the weight and length of each fish - a very big responsibility!  It was great to hang out with Jared and his team and be a part of what he is doing.
