All work and no play

Last weekend I spent from the Friday till the Sunday at the Conference.  It was a lot of work - 13 lectures of about an hour each!  But well worth it.  I nearly filled an exercise book with notes.  There has been so much to think about since.  But it wasn't all about work.  On the Monday I spent the day with friends and we went sightseeing.  We went for a boat trip on the Cat along the Brisbane River IN THE SUNSHINE!!  It was so nice.  I sat in the sun and soaked up the warmth.  We strolled around Southbank and watched the little kids paddle in the pools.  We walked along the river, under canopies of tropical trees and arbours of purple bougainvilleas.  I had a wonderful weekend away!
